The formulation of Prime & Bond Universal is designed to minimize post-operative sensitivity, providing a comfortable experience for patients. Its low film thickness reduces the risk of pooling and misfit of the restoration, promoting optimal outcomes. The adhesive offers a relaxed working time of 30 minutes in a closed CliXdish, reducing waste and optimizing efficiency. When used with Calibra Ceram cement for indirect restorations, it demonstrates high initial bond strength, ensuring the durability of the restoration. Prime & Bond Universal’s patented formulation is free of HEMA, TEGDMA, and bisphenol, addressing concerns related to these substances. It is commonly used for direct, light-cured composite and compomer restorations, as well as for composite, ceramic, and amalgam repairs. Additionally, it can serve as a cavity varnish for fresh amalgam restorations. The adhesive’s unique properties allow it to overcome the surface tension of water, spreading evenly across dentin and penetrating into dentinal tubules to form a consistent adhesive layer.
